David Fischbein for Fullerton City Council District 5

I am David Fischbein, and I’m running for Fullerton City Council to bring disciplined leadership and practical problem-solving to District 5. As a retired U.S. Navy veteran, I spent years leading aviation and maritime operations in demanding environments, including deployments to Iraq , the United Arab Emirates and the Horn of Africa. These experiences taught me that true leadership is built on responsibility, preparation, and delivering results. In my civilian career, I have managed multi-million dollar business operations and government acquisitions, specializing in efficiency and fiscal oversight. I will bring this same mission-focused approach to City Hall. My priorities are clear: infrastructure maintenance, responsible spending, addressing homelessness, and ensuring government transparency. I believe local government must listen to residents and measure success by the outcomes delivered to taxpayers, not by political rhetoric. I am not here for politics as usual; I am here to ask the difficult questions and make fact-based decisions that protect our district’s interests. My commitment is to work alongside residents and local businesses to ensure our streets are safe, our finances are stable, and our community thrives. Together, we can build a more accountable Fullerton that focuses on excellence in basic services and long-term consequences for the better.
